Trivèlla has a focus on Long-term equity only investments in companies that have been approved in our selection process.
Our selection process is based on a system we devised to leverage on our Private Equity knowledge. This is how our process works:
1) Once a year we visit companies in Brazil that are listed in the Bovespa and have high corporate governance. We look for companies we would like to own if the companies were not listed, if it was a Private Equity investment, and we would exit in 5 years.
2) With this short-list, we have Trivella group C companies. We then monitor group C to get to know them better and learn how the stocks react to changes in the Brazilian economic environment/mood.
3) We then select, from the group C basket, the companies that have a high level consistency in reacting to good and bad news, and we filter for businesses that International stock investors understand: simple and focused business models with comparables in the US.
4) With this we build group B basket. We then select a theme and pick, from basket B, stocks that fit our theme.
5) We select from basket B stocks to build group A, the invested portfolio.
