About Trivèlla
Trivèlla Investimentos is an investment management company based in the Interior of São Paulo state (the richest region of Brazil), focusing on Private Equity, Real Estate and long-only Small/Mid Cap Stock investments. Our approach is to nurture a network of Entrepreneurial contacts to generate capital, deal-flow and knowledge. Our plan is to dominate the deal-flow of companies in the Interior of São Paulo state preparing for an IPO. To do that we support entrepreneurs by creating a ‘school’ of Governance, Transparency and Global Competitiveness and selecting the best companies to accelerate the process, by matching equity and debt investors with the opportunity. We then profit from the liquidity event.
Private Equity: We have 10+ years of experience in Private Equity, created a ’school’ for companies interested in preparing for an IPO, where we support the best companies in accelerating the process. Entrepreneurs who have worked with us and reach and IPO then start a Trivella Fund or co-invest in an ongoing fund to put their money to work into replicating their success stories, this time as an investor and bringing their deal-flow.
We match these monies with international institutional investors. Entrepreneurs bring depth and initial capital and institutional investors bring scale to the fund. Stock Market: We use our knowledge of Private Equity to select, of the companies listed in the Brazilian Stock Market, those with high corporate governance. Our goal is to provide returns above the Bovespa Index by investing only in Small and Mid cap stocks. We deliver that by visiting the companies, analyzing strategies and management, and finally selecting companies that international investors will understand. By picking themes with high growth and investing 2/3 of our investor’s capital in one theme, we are able to have an above average performance.
Real Estate (labs): Note: this product is still in the lab phase, it does not have statistically meaningful performance. We select the best developer in each city, in the interior of São Paulo, and co-invest with this investor on a theme we select, focusing on housing for young families. By selecting the best managers, giving them scale and helping them secure additional financing when needed, we generate then environment for our investors to be completely aligned with the best developers in most of the mid-size cities in the Interior of São Paulo, the Brazilian equivalent of California.
