Jon Francisco Toscano, MBA,
Managing Partner: 12 years of Private Equity
experience in Brazil. Focus on strategic long-term investment
decisions. Business degree from FGV-SP. Yale MBA, with
concentration in Finance. Mr. Toscano worked at Icatu Equity
Partners, in 1997, then one of the first large fund investing in
Brazilian Private Equity. After Icatu, Mr. Toscano founded Trivèlla
and has been involved in the Private Equity market since then.
Board member of the Brazilian Venture Capital and Private Equity
Association (ABVCAP), Mr. Toscano has founded 2 companies before
his MBA. He has extensive knowledge of both the entrepreneurial
side and the finance/investing side of the Private Equity
equation.
Candido Vinicius
Pessoa, MSc, Director: deep knowledge of financial
markets and public financial instruments. Focus on strategic
long-term investment decisions. Business degree from FGV-SP. Portfolio manager in
financial institutions such as Banco BBA/Creditanstalt (1990-1993)
and Banque Indussuez (1993-1995), where he managed the bank’s
proprietary investments. Before joining Trivèlla, Mr. Pessoa was a
partner at Ipanema S/A Corretora de Câmbio Títulos e Valores
Mobiliários (1995-2002). He is also member of the Board of
Directors of PUC-SP, the Catholic University of São
Paulo.
Eduardo P. Rocha, MSc, Corporate
Finance: M&A and company analysis
experience in mid-size companies. Focus on structuring
deals. Corporate Finance Director: M&A and company
analysis experience in medium-sized companies. Focus on structuring
acquisitions, strategic alliances and divestitures deals. Business
degree from Universidade Estadual do Ceará (1992), specialization
in finance CEAG-FGV (1995), master's degree in Finance PUC-SP
(2005) and doctorate degree in Finance USP. Mr. Rocha worked in
Brazilian financial institutions (1988-1995), M&A at (Corporate
Finance and Business & Plan Analysis Team) Coopers &
Lybrand and then M&A at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Senior M&A
manager
(1996-2003).

Cristiane P. Dias: team structuring and
operations knowledge. Focus on day-to-day
operations. Technical degree in business Faculdade
Indaiatubana, Business degree from Faculdade Prudente de Moraes,
worked in the finance department as a manager and before as a
credit analyst at Apolospuma (1996 a 2006), investment analyst at
Trivèlla Investiments (since 2006).
Luís Gustavo R. de Amorim
Santos, DSc: strong analytical skills
for analyzing investments. Focus on investment
analysis. Chemistry
degree from University of Sao Paulo (2003), specialization in
finance UNIARA (2007), e doctorate degree in Chemistry USP (2008).
Worked in different metalurgy businesses (1997 a 2007), reseacher
in USP’s chemistry department labs (2004 a 2007), currently working
at Trivèlla Investments as a research analyst in capital markets
(since Fev/2008).
